There's a pattern with Tesla threads here. I don't care if you all wanna discuss the deal or the cars but it always turns into paaaages and paaaages of bickering back and forth and nobody ,except for the few involved, enjoy that or wanna wade through that. So cut that stuff out, please and thank you.
FYI just because it says "New" doesn't mean it qualifies for the 7500 tax credit. Demo models are new but do not qualify for 7500. If the specific inventory item qualifies it will directly say it on the site.

Fisker has not filed for bankruptcy yet and are in talks with Nissan as an investor/partner.
Also, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) are currently looking into a safty matter regarding doors not openning.
Fisker could be gone, wait and see. Tesla is here to stay, deal with the "deals" as they come and go.
"New" cars will ALWAYS have miles on them in the USA as the government requires the dealships to test drive them before they place them up for sale.
Cheers,
The only new car I ever bought back in 2015 had 1 mile on it. The sales guy said it actually said zero when he got in, but as he drove it to give it to me, it changed to 1.

260 - 120 = 140, what am I missing? even if you charge to 80% that's still leave you at 60M of range left when you get home. Get a L2 charger and it'll be ready for you next morning.
Thats not how it works. Tesla recommends 80% charging and you dont want it to go below 10% before recharging.
So 80-10 = 70% of 260 = 180 miles total range. In winter you lose 30% or more depending on weather. So you are SOL on certain days.
Industry junk.
Every friend of mine who got a Tesla loves it in the first 3 months.
Then, pissed off by a different stupid problem, rear door could not open, leak inside when rain,....etc.

I'd be interested, but after being spoiled by Hondas and Toyotas, I have three concerns:
1. Reliability
2. Cost of Repair
3. Depreciation
What are y'all's thoughts on this?

What are you guys talking about that it was cheaper last month? I am seeing in my area a long range with seven seats for only $45,000. I bought a couple of months ago for $3000 more and paste of weeks of watching, that was a great price at the time.

EV only works for those who can charge overnight at home and use it around the town next day. Will not be usable for any meaningful long trips, waste of time at public chargers is not discussed enough- its funny to see people wasting time seating in Tesla at those charging stations. Prices will continue to go down as initial appeal is gone.
This is not as good as the March deal. They are all $1000 more expensive. The other discounts were available most of q1.
Absolutely. Prices were lower just a week ago. Nothing to see here (yet). With inventory piling up though, prices will go down soon, June at the latest.
Anything real car with more than 200 miles should not be considered new. Listing 2000 miles as new is just offensive. But hey, this is targeted at a particular group of fanatics anyway
