Can you elaborate why leasing is better than buying on this particular brand?
Total cost of ownership in years 4-10 is unacceptable.

Yes, it's a phenomenal price for what you get, particularly the long range Model Y. We bought one. However, it's been at this price (and lower under some circumstances) for the past six months, so it's not a radical change of anything.

This is true for leasing. Not true for ownership.

Buy a long range Model Y out the door for ~$42K (I assume 7% tax). Hold for 8 years (length of warranty) and sell for ~$12K. Average monthly depreciation is $312/month. Add some buffer for maintenance and total cost of ownership is about $340/

Is leasing cheaper than $340/month?

I ran the numbers on Teslas site and leasing the same car is $524/month plus maintenance. Ok, we don't account for the time cost of money, but we also don't account for the fact that lease costs will increase every 36 months.

Tesla recently added Supervised FSD for free for one month and also Autopark. Is Autopark for one month as well or a permanent feature?
Auto park is part of EAP or FSD. Not standard without either.

I do not recommend buying a tesla for one reason. I own a tesla and love it. Last week, I had an accident, and the car will require some repair. You can only repair it at a tesla certified Collison shop. Earliest I found near me to get an estimate was 3 month away, I found one that is a bit far 45 days away, this is just for them to look at it, God knows how much time to get parts and fix it. If you buy it, make sure you get a car rental insurance with it. I live in the Seattle area

Okay that explains. So clearly it's free for just one month along with free FSD.

Looking like a hockey puck buying Tesla model 3 LR for $60k in 2018
Nah man, I did the same, it was phenomenal value at the time. No other product came close. The market is just moving very fast with EVs. That's a good thing. I traded up my 2018 Model 3 LR for a Model Y for only $16K out of pocket. Also phenomenal value.

Correct. It would be nice to have that and summon (to get out of a tight parking space) standard but that would make EAP useless lol.
