There's a pattern with Tesla threads here. I don't care if you all wanna discuss the deal or the cars but it always turns into paaaages and paaaages of bickering back and forth and nobody ,except for the few involved, enjoy that or wanna wade through that. So cut that stuff out, please and thank you.
FYI just because it says "New" doesn't mean it qualifies for the 7500 tax credit. Demo models are new but do not qualify for 7500. If the specific inventory item qualifies it will directly say it on the site.

Wild how something that may have 2500 miles on it is filtered as "new"
Probably demo car they take out the tent events. Like when I went to a LA auto show they had like 15 of them for people to drive around in, since they never were registered with any owner it's still considered "new".
Less than a week after NIO USA's CEO shared intentions for the Chinese automaker to enter North America by mid-decade, he has spoke again saying the company is still actually "debating" market entry.
Geely is bringing the EX30 from China- but the cheapest AWD version will be $44,900 MSRP, and no tax credit on purchases... for much inferior specs to the cheapest inventory AWD Modely Y which is $37,490 after tax credit.
The cheapest RWD EX30 will be $34.950 no tax credit, while the cheapest inventory RWD Model Y is $32,990 with the tax credit.
There might be something worth looking at with the RWD EX30 on a lease IF they pass through the credit there, and you're ok with a significantly smaller car with much less cargo space and a much inferior ADAS system I guess?

I mean, they are selling them here- but they don't plan to sell a lot of em.
We're talking … [as a brand] 150,000 global sales as a target for next year, for example.
They don't have the ability to scale up to be a major player so they're trying to stay at the very high end of the market by citing Porsche as their "real" competition so they won't be offering affordable stuff that competes with things like the Model Y.
Also, after Fleet incentives, no sales tax $70 title tag and tax exempt registration federal state rebates I paid 28,640 each brand new for my Tesla model threes and the two Chevrolet bolts that I picked up paid 16,150 apiece for them EV's are short range limited use vehicles nothing more and they're not in any way shape or form or ever have been worth $60,000-$100,000 just because someone charges it and someone signs for a loan on it doesn't make the true value that high
To be clear, cars sold to Hertz have no discount. Same price as to consumers.

Weird claim given how easily so many have driven cross country in Teslas.... Most folks road tripping aren't doing more than 400-500 miles a day, which is easily doable with a single ~15-20 minute stop, same as you'd do in a gas car to refuel, get drinks, use the restroom. A second such stop gets you 600-700 miles in a single day.
Bolts? Sure- L3 charging is a garbage slow nightmare.

I'm sorry. I won't buy Tesla based on privacy concerns. You shouldn't have to open an account to drive a car just so they can track and sell your data. Seriously, how did we get to this point?
What exactly are they selling?

150k income threshold for the $7500 credit that's ridiculous. You need 100k minimum just to live life in an avg mid size city. Should be 250k minimum threshold to still qualify.

Even Hertz somewhat famously paid the same MSRP as any normal customer.
