I wouldn't necessarily use it for dips and such but on sandwiches it is da bomb.

From the food network -
" Kewpie mayo is a Japanese brand of mayonnaise known for its umami-rich, tangy-sweet flavor profile. Compared to American mayonnaise, which uses the whole egg, Kewpie mayo is made with only egg yolks, giving it an exceptionally lush, smooth texture and a deeper yellow color."

Note - I never used the stuff before a year or two ago and only tried it after Al Roker was going off about it on the morning news one day.

best-by dates vary. some expire soon, some are good until december. click where it says "other sellers on amazon" to choose one

Bought this deal in January. Chose Exp date that said July. Got Exp date of June.
Still enough time to finish them but didn't get the date I selected.

Thanks OP best mayo ever, usually buy it from Walmart of all places but this beats it by a good margin! Specialty store usually sell those for $7-$8+ a piece.

Last time I bought this on deal with ability to return it came separated. Tried to mix it back together but didn't last the night. Seller just ditched their stock and got what they could.. Won't buy like this again. High demand item and at ~1/2 price I am guessing this is likely the same deal.

I, for one, enjoy aged mayonnaise. Truthfully though, all of mine is probably expired by now. Still fine though.

costco one is not the same. its made with american ingredients and just dosen't have the same umami taste as the Japanese version.

I've bought Kewpie before expecting amazing mayo but I actually didn't like it. Much prefer homemade.
