WARNING: These cards WILL NOT WORK on "Fandango at Home" (previously Vudu). Fandango support will do nothing to help you. So only buy these if you want movie theater tickets, and not if you're trying to use what until recently was Vudu.

Thanks for the warning! Ugh.

So is there a difference between Fandango and FandangoNOW gift cards? When I go to Vudu (now Fandango at Home) and I click on "add a gift card", it says that they accept both Vudu and FandangoNOW cards. But your post is not the first post I have seen warning that Vudu won't accept Fandango Gift Cards.

It's all a little confusing, right? I guess FandangoNow no longer exists either, as part of their plan to turn Vudu into "Fandango at Home." Though apparently when you try to buy digital gift cards on the old Vudu site their still called "Vudu Fandango" gift cards! Clear as mud.

The one thing I know is that if the card say just "Fandango" on it that's good only for their redundant/useless/overpriced movie ticket operation, and won't be honored for video streaming on Fandango at Home. So beware!
