Coming from the 200D material used mostly. (I.e. backpack canvas)
Not for your trekking types for sure, but appears like a pretty decent starter pack for a new Boy scout (50L), however there is no way to "fit" this pack as the back straps are not height adjustable, meaning they'll grow out of it. But at this price, you can just pass it along to someone else.

The Slumberjack backpack "lifetime" warranty has all sorts of qualifiers/limitations, but that might be the case to weed out egregious abusers.
Anyone have warranty experience with them? Lifetime warranty from reputable company very important in backpack I think. (Jansport is stellar, think Outdoor Products very good, too.)
Also compare this similar, and well-rated pack, with caveat that straps not height adjustable causing problems for taller men (this might also be case with featured Slumberjack):
