13900k is almost same as 14900k . Motherboard is not the best one but it roughly comes for like 100$ so it's good deal . Thanks for sharing

I agree. I do photo editing and video editing and from a performance standpoint, the i7 14th gen made more sense than the i9 13th gen. Puget systems benchmarks were within 3%-7% max of the performance difference. I got the i7 14th gen, and a nice motherboard for the price of what the i9 13th gen was alone. And saved on memory as well.

Puget benchmarks are still about as useless as any other benchmark when you're doing specific actual work. I have a liquid cooled 13900K and a liquid cooled 4090, and 2.2fps is all that combo can muster in Topaz Video AI. No benchmark available anywhere will tell you this fact. I wish all these so-called "tech" reviewers would do some real damn work in their "tech" reviews.... Real world numbers under real work load conditions, that is what matters! All these synthetic benchmark numbers just don't mean much. 600fps in some dumb game don't mean a thing when all you care about are H.265 render times!

This particular bundle is the lowest ever, piecing it out using the camel site is the CPU is the lowest ever (499), the Mobo was $210 once last year, but rarely ever dips that low, so yes, this is 20% less than piecing it out but realistically more like 30% off the average price.

It may not be as awesome of *value* if you're putting it up against other combos for your usecase or whatever but for this price is definitely a good deal for what's included.

This motherboard averages at $288 and has never dropped below $210
