Decent deal, but they had it priced $20 cheaper a couple weeks ago.

Is $20 what would change this from a decent deal to a good deal? On a $1,220 item?

I've had this dishwasher for a few years and would not recommend. The third (top) rack is useless because there's no cleaning mechanism between the middle and top and the top spinning water jet is so tiny and under powered. The door tends to want to push open during cleaning, and I just finished a repair of the zonalite drying system (the dishwasher will throw an E07 error code and stop about 10 minutes into a cycle when toouch water accumulates in the fan).

For $1200, I expect much, much better.

I agree. Recently replace our DW with a Kitchenaid FreeFlex third rack system and have been very satisfied, it just holds so much more than the Bosh, and that third rack is so handy for tall glasses and mugs that always held water on their bottoms in my old two rack system. Here is justone of the many comparisons

When I add to cart, your window comes up stating delivery included, haul away ncluded but installation not included. Is this typical?

We just moved back into our house from a rental that had a crappy whirlpool dishwasher… I missed the Bosch so much

Thanks I have a KA but doesn't have a Flex third rack. Curious how well does the KA clean glasses on the third rack? I see it has rotating jets for the third rack which is likely better than any dishwasher with only 2 sets of jets.

Unless this dishwasher comes with a 5 year warranty, what is the benefit of paying $400-500 more for this vs a $700 dishwasher? They're all pretty quiet, they all clean the dishes. What are you getting for paying that much more?

My sentiments exactly. I feel Bosch has been played up, first by the company itself, and then the media and consumers have been mini-brainwashed (the wash is mini, not the brain, although the obverse may also be true) to jump in with four feet. QUIET, QUIET QUIET - they're shouting it from the rooftops (juvenile pun intended)

Also, as someone here said, the quieter the pricier. I suppose there are some people who can't or won't schedule the wash, but we set it for a 4 hour timer just before bedtime. Wake up and unload the clean dishes. No noise that we can hear, and anyway our GE is not that noisy.

I'd rather spend the money on 'proper' features that result in a clean bunch of dishes. It's a dishwasher, not a monastery.

Bosch is crap. Correct me if I am wrong, but it is quiet - like mine was as they do not have a disposal / food grinder in them. You need to pre-rinse and empty out the filter after every wash. When it needed repairs, they support folks were useless - said that they only recommend certified technicians. Maybe things have changed. My GE that replaced it, knock on wood, has been running reliably for a number of years now. Still I would never buy a Bosch dishwasher again. Lots of other stuff by them, yes.

has anybody who bought from costco.com submitted the rebate online? the site insists on providing a retailer (ie costco.com) zipcode, which doesn't make sense for online orders.

also I see that costco.com has a page to submit manufacturer rebates. https://www.costco.com/rebates.html
The costco link only asks for order number, doesn't even ask or list which item qualifies for rebate. unclear if this will work either.

Did you figure out how to submit the rebate on the Bosch website? I might just mail it in if that retailer zip search is a deadend.
