If you are losing multiple sleeves per round (this isn't an insult, just what OP said earlier) then I completely disagree with this. Keep using the Nitros and get a couple lessons. Figure out your swing and tendencies then start looking at higher tier balls and clubs
Nitro golf balls are pretty low end, but it hasn't stopped me from buying them. I'm not on tour and don't play for money, so never felt the need to spend a lot of money on golf balls.
Kirkland are far superior in my opinion. Not sure if they have more spin or what the science behind it is. Nitros are decent but they seem to get destroyed a lot easier than most balls. They seem to have a shitty roll on the green as well. The kirkland balls are probably the best bang/buck. Also the wilson chaos are regularly a little under a doller per ball on amazon. I would use Kirkland > Wilson > Nitro as far as performance is concerned.

In for 4, about $0.64ish cents per. I'm looking for high-visibility golf balls at this juncture and this does the trick. Thanks, OP!

I'm down with any ball that costs less than a dollar. In my experience, red and orange balls are horrible to track. I play white or yellow balls.

These are garbage balls.

15 pack of Top Flites $11 [golfworks.com]
24 pack of Saintnine $24 [golfetail.com]
24 Srixon Q-Star - $38 [golfetail.com]

As soon as I stopped playing with trash balls, I started to get better, especially with the concentration. With trash balls I didn't care if I lost a 50 cent ball, just drop another one and go again. I've only stepped up to Titleist Tru Feel and Velocity (~$30/Dozen) or even Srixon Softfeel ($23 dozen, usually B2G1) for that difference to come about.

Shot a 92 this weekend at Pocono Hills, East Stroudsburg, PA.

You're a beginner. These Nitros are just as good as those Top Flites you referenced. A beginner but already a snob it would seem.

As a beginner you won't be able to tell the difference between range ball and pro v1s. Buy at your level and whatever is cost efficient if youre out on the course. These are fine

Nitros are bottom of the trash - Top Flites are like an eclair being above the garbage. The place Nitros belong is the mini-golf course, that's what they're the equivilent of.
