Don't use salt. It leaches into the surrounding soil. Salt doesn't evaporate. After a few uses it layers and you just made a dead zone.
I need to seal my driveway cracks using the melted sticks thing.
I attach my Benzo to mine. Nice tip on the upside down thing. Didn't know that

Works great
Takes like 15 seconds to get a full 1lb cylinder. Don't have to mess with putting the 1lb tank in the freezer and all those tricks to try and get a full disposable cylinder. Literally a 15 second refill process with the Flame King. That alone is worth it, aside from the fact that they are designed to be refilled, are heavy duty, all steel and brass construction, and DOT approved to transport in a vehicle. Also, if you get the Flame King Refillable, don't get the Flame King Adapter because it has a pin in it that only allows you to use it on a Flame King Refillable. Get a generic adapter hose, because it will work on both the Flame King and regular disposables. Also, get one with a hose that allows you to have the 1lb cylinder vertically (not horizontally). Otherwise you won't be able to get a full fill on anything (refillable or disposable).
Talking about the first Purge or Purge The Election Year?
I'm sure YMMV based on location but I searched for months to try to get rid of them and there were no other options.
Find some metal sculptors. They'll take them off your hands for free. Just put them on craigslist free or FB marketplace. They can be used to make windchimes, minions, and lots off other things
When your trash gets compacted at the dump they may be in for a surprise.

No fireman will ever tell you its OK to store propane or gasoline cans inside your house or in your garage, but many people do that and most haven't had a catastrophic problem. They just cause a really big problem if you have a house fire and the fire gets to the canisters, or if the canisters start leaking and gas vapor builds up inside the house and ignites it will explode and at the very least blow your windows out, or at worst blow your walls and roof apart.
I had 3 of these in my attached garage along with various other spray paint cans and such.
Lost my entire house due to a fire.
No, these were NOT the cause.
Here's my point: it doesn't matter.
Sure, it is recommended to store outside of home in a shed or similar. If you have that, store it there.
These things don't mysteriously combust and start fires.
If your home catches fire, it just doesn't matter. They become projectiles (as do spray paint cans) and launch themselves during fires. Found mine in front yard after fire the next day.
These are perfectly safe to store in your garage. Did it for years.
It's ok to be safe and read/follow the recommendations, but don't let that scare you away.
Just my experience and opinion.
I'll wait for a Walmart sale ….
