1GB high speed data per month. Slow speed after 1 GB.
$78 after tax and fees for me.

Runs on T-Mobile unless you reach out to customer service after purchase to request AT&T-based service.
The US Mobile 1Gb plan mentioned in another thread, just yesterday, for annual $72 has taxes and fees included.
Taxes and fees were $13 for me, so only about $1 per month for a total cost of $73 for the year.
Plus, on the US Mobile plan, data stops after 1GB - you have to pay for more data at that point. Data would keep going at no additional cost, albeit at slower speeds, w/Good2Go.

Read the FAQ lower on the page - this plan requires that you qualify for federal aid such as TANF, and is limited to one line per household. Not sure what will happen if the feds find out you don't qualify. Even if that never happens, using this when you don't qualify is not only shady, but taking aid money away from those who need it more. No thanks.
EDIT: I see the FAQ I mentioned has now been added to the wiki for this post. At least that's a *little* more honest, although I still feel it should be prominently mentioned in the post itself as not everyone will look for the wiki.
I do wish those who downvote would take the time to explain it. If I'm somehow wrong about this, then I'd appreciate being enlightened.

You really think too much lol. It's not an ACP plan. Not sure why they put the same FAQ on all their pages. Besides, ACP had ended already.

While I chose the name for a reason, I don't see how your comment regarding that is appropriate here. I've no idea about the Fed plan mentioned since it didn't apply to me, so taking what the page says at face value seems reasonable to me.

Thank you for the explanation.
This site compares all the prepaids plans available. It lets you quickly compare the plans and find the one that fits your needs. I'm really suprised https://prepaidcompare.net/

I'm really disappointed that SD staff updated with wiki with incorrect information.

Actually thank you for pointing out about the ACP FAQ. They also offer the same plan for 1 month at the $5 price without committing to the annual plan. Good to try out their service before paying for the year. https://www.good2gomobile.com/fcc...-wind-down
This is the normal price for this plan, I got it about 5 months ago and its been working great. It is NOT a ACP plan. I never got the credit for the referral I used to join, otherwise cant complain.
83 for me. Better value is actually probably TracFone. Get that bad phone bundled with 24 GB of data and then buy a separate SIM card and move it over.
That's a good deal but it is a hassle to have to buy a phone you really don't need just to get it and then you can't even just swap Sims.
But this is good for people that just need a phone number don't use that much data, rely on Google voice

Are the fees lower in Illinois?
Definitely not, you can check out estimated taxes and fees before purchasing or providing your personal information. Since we have no idea what part of IL you're in I used 60606 (Chicago) and the fees are, well you'll see below:
Govt. taxes & fees $63.56
Surcharges & fees $4.80
SIM card with 1 year service $60.00
===============================
$128.36 total including taxes/fees

For some reason, the taxes and fees on my renewal will be less than $1/mo: https://i.imgur.com/M9CUC8s.jpg
