I have it. It IS just a fan and heater. It is also the quietest of either I have (at low ish levels).
That makes it awesome in a room where you have your tv.

I don't see anything about purification? Where is that listed? If not it seems over priced still. Lasko FH515 has heat and cool plus auto control based on thermostat for half the price. I wonder how that stacks up

You sir just gave me a reason to pull the trigger. My current holmes fan is pretty loud and the upcoming texas heat will want me to get something quieter. My wife won't get mad for having the tv so loud.
