Bought these in the past. The seal on them is not very good. I had leaks with liquid foods. The plastic is not very strong and is hard to clasp down

I'm not sure about these but if they're anything like the Rubbermaid Brilliance ones I do NOT recommend them. Both made from Tritan plastic.

They are not really made for the microwave. Their definition of "cooking" is more than 30 seconds, any prolonged use in the microwave and they still start to show noticeable cracks and can even crack through over time.

Tbh, I don't really understand how they're so well reviewed. 30 seconds in the microwave is not going to warm your food if it's in a large container. I guess, my bad thinking they were a quality product, when they break I'll probably switch over to glass containers.

Microplastics are endocrine disruptors. Poor stay poor and rich stay rich. Pollute your brain and system at your own expense

The problem with Pyrex is the glass will last three generations. Their covers will last 3 months!

The Brilliance are nice because the plastic doesnt absorb anything so it stays nice and transparent. They're very easy to clean too. My parents have used a set for 3 years without issue, and im sure they put them in the microwave as well.

The biggest source of micro plastics is what you are wearing. As the biggest contributor of plastic pollution, please tell use what clothing and shoes you have on right now.

Don't nuke plastic. These are perfectly fine for storage. Heat food in glass or ceramic.

So true! I have 4 sets of the Brilliance and over time they did develop hairline cracks and eventually cracked through. The lids are a PITA to clean as well.
