Put it this way, you're probably not going to find a laptop at this price point, especially touch screen, till Prime day or Black Friday, and that's IF it goes on sale. If you don't need a number pad or backlit, I'd bite. That USB 3.2 is pretty slick, display port and charging.

In other words, you're getting the future price right now instead of waiting, hoping it goes on sale months from now.

However, the reviews are pretty bad. So it's not all about the specs.
The refurbished version is $263.

This is a nice laptop for a majority of people. Perfect for a student.

Pros:
- Lots of features.
- Touchscreen if you need it.
- 16gb ram
- Newish processor (old processor made with new tech)
- USB-C Charging
- 512gb storage
- Comes with a protective sleeve.

Cons:
- Graphics could have been way better...
- I bought this "refurbished from Acer" on ebay, for $250 like 9 months ago. It came in mint condition.

Is that the wrong picture on the Costco page? That looks like a 14" laptop, there isn't a number keypad. What seems to be the same model on Newegg does have a number keypad.

The first pic looks to be wrong. Look at the others. It has a num pad.
BTW, this does not have backlit keyboard.

The backlit keyboard was the next thing I was going to try and lookup, lol, since that's important to me. But I also prefer a laptop without the number keypad, so it probably wasn't gonna be what I wanted, anyway.

It's Mendocino, so probably not.

Opinions vary, but I would say the $279 Dell at Dell, and the $199 Lenovo at Microcenter have been good values.

I helped a friend buy the Lenovo at Microcenter around New Years to do online banking and saw her today. She said she loves it now just as much as the first week. But her use is very specific.
