I have 3 of these and realized this really sucks when you want to review what happened.
Wyze Software always tries to upsell you on everything. Even with their premium plan you can't fast forward a recording? :smh:

Some are V2's running since March 2019. Very few have "died".
The relatively low cost allows me to use several to monitor an area.
2.4 Ghz gives much more reliable transmission at a distance, I've had some of the weatherproof V3's since they came out in November 2020.
To me the best they came out with so far is the wyze pan cam v3.
I've seen the ads to upgrade, but I ignore them and have never paid anything more than the price of the cams and the microSD cards. Oh, I also bought some cheap window mounts that are pretty useful.
My neighbor has some Ring cams and pays a subscription, yet she can only see the clips that Ring records, whereas I have access to everything. Also, I think the video quality is nowhere near as good as my Wyze footage.
All the Wyze fan boys will continue to defend them lol
