Clip 30% circle coupon
All Yankee candles are 30% off with target circle coupon bringing the 22oz from $16.89 to $11.82 after coupon

Link points just to midsummer night scent, but deal includes all scents

Thanks If I hadn't stocked up when Target had some other candles for 40% off recently, I'd be in for a few of the Pink Sands scent Smilie

Here's a link to all the varieties Target is showing for Yankee Candle(some are a lil higher but most are for the price you posted)

My circle offer was 30% off all candles, not just Yankee.
Not quite as slick as the recent 40% off but I missed that one so will definitely take advantage of this one!

Are the people who make scents for this called scent-ologist? Or scent-ist? I know they are scent-ient beings, but what do I call them 🤓

A friend of mine works at Yankee Candle and she would simply call herself 'poor'.

Sounds like a retail worker. Yeah, they're generally pretty poor.

She's not retail, she literally is making these candles. I think she says she makes about 25,000 candles in 8 hours and is paid $18.50 an hour. They have temp pay hikes when too many people quit.

She makes over 3,000 candles per hour, which retails for over $90K and the company pays her only $18.50? What a wonderful world we're living in.

So 1 second per candle for the full 8 hours? Assembly line I'm assuming at that rate, which for $18.50/hr is above average pay.

The company is not only paying her salary, they are paying for the land/space, materials, transport, rent for their store fronts, rent or ownership of the factory/factories, equipment and maintenance, marketing.

If she can make 3,000 candles of equal quality in an hour I urge her to quit her job and sell them for $1 less than she will be rich!! Rich I tell you!

$18.50 an hour is barely above minimum wage in Massachusetts. You get $16+ an hour as McDonalds working nights.

There are more people on the production line. She operates the machine that pours the wax. There are costs and such, but yeah capitalism is amazing.

All my candles came in shattered and broken! I returned them in store, got almost a full refund back except they charged me .68 for each candle as a 'shipping' cost..I asked if i could just do an even exchange since they had the same scents available in store, but the customer service wouldn't allow me to and said I would have to return the damaged ones and rebuy the others at the regular register. Frown What a mess and painful return process! I will just have to stick to buy in store next time.
