That's kind of subjective. I much prefer VA for every day tasks since the blacks and contrast are much better, web pages with dark themes look much better. The brightness and responsiveness of IPS is better for games. Video depends on if you want brightness (IPS) or color.black accuracy (VA).

Sceptre, sometimes goes down to 200. Been using it for few months. Not dell but passable. VA I can not stand up. Perhaps with significant curvature but even then it is hard for me.

Yep. After good IPS VA looks just washed out. And for this size in flat... edges will look very different. 1500R or better curve - passable for me, but still.
