I bought their 12" pan in 2022 and love it. Cast iron needs some different treatment so if someone doesn't know how to use them or wants to treat them like non stick they might not be too happy. It does rust if left not oiled but that is not an issue once you clean it with hot water and oil it the surface rust will go away. I have a lodge pan which I had to strip and reseason a couple of times and seasoning still chips off, the Victoria's seasoning is holding up very well and never had to be stripped. I don't wash it in the dishwasher or with soap I just heat it up, put it under hot water (cold water will crack it) and place it back on the hot stove to dry up and then oil it with a drop of oil and paper towel.
I have one of these from a SD FP deal from years ago - paid $13.99 as well (think that's as low as these go). It gives you the ability to cook chicken, fish, hamburgers, etc and get those nice grilling lines you don't get using flat cast iron. I would recommend buying Victoria's custom made square glass top (bought mine from Amazon) that makes this pan even more versatile. Oh, one last "pro tip" - those cheap bamboo forks you buy at the Dollar Tree… just take a good pockets knife (or utility blade) to it and you can shape the fork tines to fit in-between the grates on this pan. It works very well for cleaning the pan, as it does tend to be more difficult to clean than a perfectly flat cast iron pan.

Damn went through the pictures reviews and they were back to back bad reviews. Mishandling, Rusting (Wonder if some are putting this in a dishwasher or washing by hand but not drying immediately), cracks, etc. Recent reviews starting from April 2023 - Current only 11 users who made a review. Two Under 2 stars, one put it in a dishwasher and the other didn't mention why it isn't as advertised for them. I might take a chance on this and hope it doesn't break in transit.

Same as all cast iron reviews. Most one star reviews are reviewed by idiots who didn't bother to look into taking care of a pan like this. They all say the same thing about how they washed it and let it dry and it rusted. You have to wash and dry it, and then you have to season it. Especially when new as the factory seasoning leaves a lot to be desired. I have 3 Victoria cast iron items (2 pans and a tortilla press). They are all flawless and initially higher quality than my Lodge items. I cook with Cast Iron daily and have about 20 pieces total. Out of the budget brands, Victoria is among the best.

Pain to clean and the ridges really adds nothing to the sear.
I use my 10" and 12" Lodges almost daily. My griddle pan was sent to Goodwill eons ago.
ymmv.
