Newegg has a 16GB stick of Crucial DDR5 4800 [newegg.com] for $45, shipped, less than 1/3 of Dell's 32GB upgrade price.

All i know is that dell requires specific graphic cards to work properly that made for dell xps desktops
The ram, you can use any ram brand same with ssd
You can get a 750w or 1000W Dell specific power supply for this case from Dell or ebay ect....

This video card can be taken out and put in any pc and it will work just fine. You can use the standard driver from Nvidia, The only difference is you get the graphic's card firmware BIOS update from Dell instead of another video card manufacturer (i.e. Asus,PNY,. MSI, Zotac, ect...)
But thats why its important to hav atleast a 750w PSU or 1000w to allow the flexibility of adding different graphics cards. The current 460w like in this unit is a joke. I know, I own it lol

I upgraded my ram and it fried the motherboard and dell had to come to my house (I have the premium warranty) and install a new motherboard then a new a bios update fried the motherboard again lol
All I'm saying is that it's better off getting a higher power supply

It was Covid time and 3060 Ti was hard to come by.,,
1. Please upgrade cpu cooler. If you have not bought the Dell yet. Upgrade to AIO water cooler
Dell cases is used to mount the cpu cooler. You can not install any cooler afterwards… only certain type that uses m6 screw type
Dell uses weird shape motherboard. If you buy this pc. You will not be able to change the computer case
2. This is smaller case, fan choices are limited
3. My 8940 did not come with any front air intake fan.
4, Dell was being cheap and did not install any VRAM heat sink. It was only $10… if you do not buy K version of cpu, Dell will skip the heat sink
With recent Micro center deals… I would build one my self If I'm looking for a pc today.
There's a non-retail motherboard, just about sufficient PSU which might need upgraded once you add a part, a case that doesn't make cooling all that easy compared to modern gaming cases.
It's still a good deal, but know what you're getting. It's basically fine if you're not intending to change too much to it.
I bought this system last year and am happy with it.
