For everyone unaware with this comment, Amazon had a pricing error where they were giving out 5-6 free movies all of which were MoviesAnywhere compatible.
We assumed that the movies would be safe since it's in our MA account. We all woke up the next day with the rug pulled out from under us.
I and many others were under the assumption that if it hit MA, it would stay in all of the platforms even if one platform removed it.
THAT IS NOT THE CASE
Amazon fixed the pricing error and removed the license. So all of our free movies that were in our MoviesAnywhere account was gone. Poof!
Since this happened, I started looking at pirate ships to buy since any of these companies can pull their licenses without hesitation.
If you buy a MA movie anywhere it will be shared with all the other MA platforms. Amazon sells MA and non-MA films, so you do need to check which it is, but 1917 would have been shared with all the platforms whether you bought it on Amazon or Apple.

I'm interested in 1917 but want to add to MA. I just looked at Apple TV and it's available for $4.99. I made the purchase there since it will be shared with MA.
Just buy the Blurays for $10 and get the digital for free with it.
So is Dunkirk - got both movies MA/Apple set to go. I think I also own Saving Private Ryan. I think I need to add Apocalypse Now and I will be set for War Movies. I guess Playtoon would be a good add.
No love for FMJ? "It's a hardball world, son. We've just got to keep our heads until this peace craze blows over."
I had $22 in "No-rush" Prime credits. I purchased Apollo 13 and the balance went to $17, as expected. But, it won't apply towards a second movie purchase. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it only one $5 movie per account per promotion or something? Thanks

I made 3 ($5) of the movies in same days using no rush credit. I still have balance of $16.50 left.
The Amazon version at least says no MA. Also, sometimes when I see the Amazon movie it's difficult to tell whether it's MA capable. I would rather order from MA or Apple (my primary means of watching movies anyways) over Amazon. I ordered one movie from Amazon without realizing that it was Amazon exclusive. That sucks.
EDIT: I guess the chart above now says MA capable for 1917.
To ensure that the movie is MA, you can login to your MA account in desktop (this doesn't work in the mobile app). Search for the movie and if you don't have the movie on your account, it will show the pricing for each of the retailers that you have connected to your account. You can buy it from there and you'll be directed to the specific retailer website for purchase.

Since it's shot as one take, aren't they just walking like a couple of miles?
