Great watch for the price. Perfect summer beater, wear to the beach, pool, etc without worry. Solid build and looks great. It is large-ish though at 44mm.

Excellent value watch, but I would strongly suggest buying the cheaper rubber strap version instead of paying extra for the steel bracelet version. Use the savings to buy an aftermarket bracelet. The Casio bracelets are pretty poor quality, jingly-jangly, hair pullers. For $20 you can get a nice solid link bracelet (w/ hollow end links designed to fit this specific watch) that has a milled clasp, offers easy micro-adjust, and pretty much curb-stomps the OEM Casio bracelet quality-wise.

I have owned the black version of this watch for 10+ years. It's hands down the best value for the money out there in the watch world. I have never tried the bracelet version before but it looks good.

L2L isn't too bad though. I recall its something around 48-49mm

If you do any diving it's a great backup dive time keeper. The way the outer bezel turns you can only subtract minutes not add. Old school.

Fun platform for modding also. I have a couple that I've swapped to sapphire glass and aftermarket bracelets. At the base price for the watch, it's not as intimidating to take things apart and swap out components.

Cheapest this has been in eons and a great watch. I bought at 35 for black on black rubber band eons ago. Looks as good as much higher end watches and is solidly built to boot. You could buy a more tacticool looking watch at this price point, but you'd be hard pressed to find an actual better analog display quartz at this price.

Concur. I did a swap to a sapphire crystal with a pre-installed cyclops* over the date postion. For "beater" use it's a great upgrade and I can now actually read the date easily. The weak points of the stock Duro are the mineral glass, unframed small date window, and relatively cheap, uncomfortable straps/bracelets. All are easily solved and this watch is so popular finding aftermarket upgrade parts is easy too.

(*For those who aren't watch geeks yet, it's a small magnifier lens that is glued to the crystal over the date position and makes it much easier to read.)
