    Great watch for the price. Perfect summer beater, wear to the beach, pool, etc without worry. Solid build and looks great. It is large-ish though at 44mm.

    Excellent value watch, but I would strongly suggest buying the cheaper rubber strap version instead of paying extra for the steel bracelet version. Use the savings to buy an aftermarket bracelet. The Casio bracelets are pretty poor quality, jingly-jangly, hair pullers. For $20 you can get a nice solid link bracelet (w/ hollow end links designed to fit this specific watch) that has a milled clasp, offers easy micro-adjust, and pretty much curb-stomps the OEM Casio bracelet quality-wise.

    Cheapest this has been in eons and a great watch. I bought at 35 for black on black rubber band eons ago. Looks as good as much higher end watches and is solidly built to boot. You could buy a more tacticool looking watch at this price point, but you'd be hard pressed to find an actual better analog display quartz at this price.

    Concur. I did a swap to a sapphire crystal with a pre-installed cyclops* over the date postion. For "beater" use it's a great upgrade and I can now actually read the date easily. The weak points of the stock Duro are the mineral glass, unframed small date window, and relatively cheap, uncomfortable straps/bracelets. All are easily solved and this watch is so popular finding aftermarket upgrade parts is easy too.

    (*For those who aren't watch geeks yet, it's a small magnifier lens that is glued to the crystal over the date position and makes it much easier to read.)

    Best value in the watch world.

    I would recommend the slightly cheaper version. (usually $45-$50) with the rubber strap rather than the stock Casio metal bracelet which is slightly cheap and tacky looking.

    You can then replace the rubber strap with something nicer. Any standard 22mm watch strap will fit.

    If you prefer a metal bracelet there are excellent ones for $20-$60, some customized to fit this exact model. Wearing this one right now [longislandwatch.com]. It costs slightly more than the watch (lmao) but at $105 for the entire package (watch and bracelet) everybody's going to think you're watching a $500 watch.

    As others have noted this is a large watch.

    where do you guys have batteries changed? don't they have to pressurize it whenever they open it? I don't supposed any store will do? A lot of the watch stores in the mall have closed.

    Fairly easy to do yourself with a case opener you can buy cheaply on amazon, or any jeweler that sells watches or batteries plus bulbs can probably do it as well.     Same, got one before a trip to Florida in 2022 for $35 and it's become my favorite watch. I wear it everywhere. Great for scuba

    I've got the black bezel version. It draws compliments all the time and people are amazed that its a Casio. I had to replace the rubber band, here's the stainless bracelet I replaced it with.
