good to have these physical bristol / velum board skills, but I'd recommend a good drawing tablet and digital pen system now that they have all the fancy features on the pens. ultimately would save money over physical supplies as well, and the old "non photo blue" build up layer can just be hidden completely, in the old way, you'd have to photocopy it to see how it looks without all the blue pencil marks all over the place.

best value and software compatibility....I don't think you need cutting edge I'd buy used windows pc tablet or used ipad pro tablet, bc I think both will have good art programs
