Replaced the QC35s my wife lost and these don't feel nearly as comfortable on my head. Feels like the clamping force is higher. Just a fyi for my fellow big headed SDers out there. Everything else is fine otherwise.

Clamping force is 100% higher with these and if you wear glasses watch out

QC35 i could wear my glasses with no issues like they werent there, with these i can feel the side arms of my glasses digging in

Tried the Bose Ultra thinking it would provide Ultra comfort instead what i got was a sub-par sounding headphone with average comfort for a price that is in line with Airpods Max and other "high end but not necessarily audiophile headphones"

Plus Bose and Sony's over the ear headphones, the noise cancelling ones/most popular in their line, ALL have issues with Apple and it's products: Macbooks, Apple TV (forget it audio wont sync properly), iPhone - all will have issues.

Android not so much but disconnection and multiple errant connections are definitely an issue with both sets.

Each are great sets if you use them on Windows/Android but they have flaws even if that's your only use case scenario - and if they arent on deep discount the flaws are not enough to look past to pay what they are asking.

If you dont believe me about Apple - read the forums and what people are going through with their Bose Ultra and Bose QC45. It's a disaster and Bose wont push updates because they simply dont care.

Hopefully Apple puts out a new pair of Max addressing previous flaws but even that is looking like late 2025 so ill probably have to grab another Airpods Pro to tide me over
