The one I ordered from last sale hasn't been shipped. Walmart keeps sending emails about it being delayed. Not that it is unexpected, but it definitely does not incentivize me to sign up for W+.

Update: Walmart refunded me due to "issues with the order".

looks like these are like the xbox fridges, where they're just thermoelectric (and thus limited by ambient temperature in actual cooling ability)

..wondering what about it could possibly make it "eco-friendly" as the description claims, though lol

Same for me but I did purchase mine from a vendor on their site. This one should be no problem since it's sold and shipped via Walmart.

It's rated at a maximum power draw of 36W, a dorm fridge uses about double that to maintain temp (when needed) and has a startup draw of 200-300W to get to temp. The real "eco friendly" part is the lack of freon/equiv gas.

That said very good reminder about how thermal electric works you'll likely get 20+ f temperature difference between room temperature and the inside of the "fridge", so buyers should choose accordingly, these are quiet, but cooling is definitely lacking compared to standard.

Eco friendly being that it's nothing compared to a large fridge. Lol.

But not sure if it's eco friendly in the sense that there are a lot of these and most likely end up in the trash.

I jumped on the xbox one last time and I have it under my desk at my work office. It cools my sprite cans really well actually and I honestly never hear the fan on this thing. Great for people that work in an office. Side note, it came with a car adapter. I could theoretically see using this on a camping trip too
