Some math.

The cost per gram of protein is $0.067.
The product has 27% of it's calories from protein and 26% of it's mass from protein.

At 220 calories for 15g protein, it is most certainly not a weight loss bar or a diet food, and does not advertise itself as such.

Less protein, way more saturated fat. Hard pass.

I'd think of these more of a healthier dessert opposed to a protein energy bar.

Craving some chocolate, this is a nice alternative. They are pretty good too.

I'll also add that the first source of protein is soy protein isolate if that matters to you.

It's relatively a good price for this product, but I have had these and I don't think they are really worth a dollar a piece.

NOPE! If you want a candy bar, here you go. But if you are looking for something with high protein and a good nutritional profile... this ain't it, there are far better choices out there.

10g of Sugar Alcohols. If you're ready for a good stomach bloat with lots of gas, these are the protein bars for you.

Be careful with this brand. Tried it 2x different flavors but just horrible taste. I ended up giving them away or eating on long where I was hungry enough to ignore the taste 😅

Nothing wrong with soy protein isolate. Complete protein, not as many BCAAs or as digestible as whey (nothing is), but still good. And no, it won't give you moobs. You can blame that on the beer.

Now, it's the sugar alcohol I have issues with - my glucose levels respond to maltitol almost the same as sugar.

The mental gymnastics people on this site go through, to make themselves believe they're not eating candy.

"Healthier dessert bar". That's a new one...at least you're getting creative 😏

Any recommendation for diet bars?
