Walmart is offering for Walmart+ Members: a 2 Month Trial of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for Free for Qualifying New Game Pass Members when you login to your Walmart+ account and redeem the offer for a unique promo code.

Steps:
  1. Visit the Walmart+ Offer Page and select Get Offer next to the 2 free months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate offer
  2. On the Offer Page you will see your unique promo code, copy this code in case you need it later
  3. Hit the Redeem Offer button on the page to go to the Xbox Site
  4. You will be instructed to Sign in to Your Account in order to redeem the code
  5. Your Unique Promo Code code should autofill, if it does not then paste/type the code you copied earlier.
  6. Redeem your offer and receive your 2 Free Months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, be sure to disable Recurring Billing afterwards to avoid being charged (found in the Services & Subscriptions section of your account).

Contrary to the verbage, I was an existing Game Pass Core and applying this code did convert my Core to Ultimate (at 3:2) and added the two months.

Does this give me Diablo iv? I can't seem to see indicators on what version of game pass is needed.

You can use microsoft rewards with bing searches and fulfilling xbox app quests each day to keep extending the GPU especially if you have xbox console with autoredeem. The rewards was recently nerfed so harder to keep it going every month.

I had a previous Game Pass Ultimate subscription that expired last November (I don't even remember having it, probably a free trial from something) and can't redeem this code. I may just set up a new Xbox account to redeem it and try a few games

but wouldn't you have to use the acct your walmart+ is under? was that the account you had the previous ultimate pass on? if not you should be able to do it.
