Are both your cars before 2016 or whatever year they like to say?
Yes, one is a 2013 and the other is a 2004. Who knows if the 2004 will last three more years but I maintain it so here's hoping lol

Everyone that has said that it is a pain to cancel Sirius is on point. I had it for 3 years in 3 cars and I personally loved it. And then went to try to cancel just one of them the "press to cancel" button on the iPad would say there was technical difficulties and to contact them by phone or chat. It honestly took me 45 minutes on chat to do that. By the time I was left on hold, offered different deals, listened to why Sirius was so great I was screaming in the phone to cancel all of my subscriptions. So, no it is not easy and I will never use them again.

I tried chatting online with them and they said the offer isn't available to me and could vary depending on account or location or radio or something like that. I had just the music select package that was ending in 3 months and wanted to upgrade to this deal and they shut me down. This was for a radio in my 2022 truck

Any way to upgrade this to Platinum, say for an extra buck or two per month, to get Howard?
No -- anytime you upgrade or downgrade a plan on SXM, the plan you change to will be at full price. CSR can sometimes move you onto a promo you're not technically eligible for if you threaten to cancel, but even that usually involves a cancel / resubscribe (done on their end).

The company, their technology, and the business model are all stuck in the late 90s (and I say that all as someone who has been a subscriber for the past 9 years).

Took some haggling back and forth with a chat agent, but I was able to get this applied to a 2018 Durango. Agent told me the offer wasn't applicable to my vehicle, then said it was expired, then checked with "support" and was able to apply the deal. I did not have an active subscription.

I feel like $3/month is a good value for the service. Terrestrial radio sucks.

I took advantage of the last deal and I stand by my previous statement that their music quality sucks! BUT, I will admit, it is much better when using the app.

I had zero luck with trying to cancel and getting the promotion, so I just said screw it and canceled. They are a terrible company but it is convenient in the car.
I tried to cancel via chat and they only offered to keep my current rate at $6.99/month + tax. They said the $2.99 rate is only for old out of service radio. I didn't believe it but didn't feel like arguing so I said sure I'll keep the rate. These days the $4 difference is less than a cup of SB coffee 😔

Called and it worked for me. Subscription was expiring next week and it was due to go to $24 (!) per month. This is perfect timing.

Is there a actual channel list anywhere? The fine print is really messy.

This offer is for a different cheaper plan than the $4 Platinum plan.
This offer is for the Music & Entertainment plan and not for the Platinum plan.
With the M & E plan you'll get all the news/comedy/music, it's basically Stern and Sports play by play you lose.
