With this Anker you are paying extra for faster charging, and capability to run/charge laptops that require 60W or 90W or more. If you just need slower charging for a cellphone, and don't mind the power bank charging itself slowly, the cheaper option makes sense.

Also as many have mentioned, the main thing you are paying for here is speed of charging/recharging. You can recharge the entire battery and any mobile devices you likely have at their maximum input wattage. To put this in perspective, while iPhones can only charge at about 25w (most external battery's output around this) Samsungs can go up to 45W, laptops typically 60-90, and tablets up to around 45W. This battery is capable of doing them all simultaneously, and at maximum speed. Capacity you can get cheap, but charge speed is an entirely different story. There is also the speed of recharging it as well. This battery can be charged from 0-100 in around 40min with the correct input.
I've personally purchased plenty of USB cables, power supplies, and batteries from various vendors. And I've had my fair share of them perform poorly or die quickly. My Anker devices have performed much better my non-Anker devices overall. Without knowing which cheaper brands are worthwhile, I lean more and more towards Anker over time.
What would help the community more would be for posts like yours to at least help educate people. Why not at least include a few brands that you think people should prioritize in your post?
You are mistaken and probably assume that Anker is at the level of Samsung, Apple, etc or other brands that actually does their own design and R&D.

But they are still overpriced AF.
CUKTECH is not bad it's a successor to ZMI which is one of Xiaomi brands. So in terms of of Chinese ware, it's respectable. But it's awkward in person. It has a huge empty space that could fit a few more batteries. I did a few charging test and the Anker Prime was better than CUKTECH and Shargeek Storm 2. Anker was the closest to their advertised capacity.
I ended up returning the CUKTECH and added the Anker Prjme along with my Shargeek Storm 2.

I think that you may not realize it, but posts like yours are actually helping Anker in a lot of cases. The posts insult Anker, often insult buyers of Anker, and fail to offer helpful suggestions. When someone sees that enough, they start to assume that those bashing the person/product/brand should be ignored.
You're welcome to argue with me, but that would show that you're missing the point. I, and many others, agree with you that Anker is likely a bit overpriced. But most don't want to spend 20, 60, or more minutes researching every purchase they make. It's worth spending a bit more to get something that should work as advertised.
If instead of arguing, you were to offer brands we should prioritize instead, people would greatly appreciate it. You get more bees with honey than vinegar.

If that's true, where are the generic versions of this exact product?
