While this is not nearly as good as the 25% off Toyota parts, if you have Lexus specific parts that you need, this is a pretty good deal. It stacks on top of whatever discounts the online dealers are already providing, and there is often no sales tax:

You can search for parts and dealers here:
https://parts.lexus.com/

If you don't want to hunt for the lowest in your area, these dealers have pretty good prices:
https://parts.belllexusnorthscottsdale.com/
https://parts.prestigelexus.com/
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I made 6 figures last year on autoparts on ebay... so it depends upon your seller and source.

I've used them for years. Sometimes they're prices are cheaper than they are as a dealership employee. There's been a few times I ordered from Bell Lexus because it was cheaper than my employee price.

If you are OK with perowned. Lexus has certified preowned car thY has bumper to bu.per warranty for a long time. On top of that you can negotiate a extended warranty that is also bumper to bumper. I pretty much got 10 year warranty for maybe 1000 dollar more. So for 10 years I literally am covered. Also unlimited miles. It's amazing

It's pretty straightforward to tell the difference between a genuine and non-genuine part from car brand X. Look at other listings for genuine parts. You have to take a few minutes research what the packaging looks like, what the part looks like, what's written on the part, etc. I've never come across a seller selling fake genuine parts for any car brand. I'm sure they exist, but it is in the super minority. It's also important to look for a reputable seller with lots of feedback and high ratings. Those guys aren't going to sacrifice their business to knowingly sell counterfeit parts. If they were selling counterfeit parts, it would be all over their feedback.

The key thing to buying online is that sellers have different keywords you need to look for and be weary of such as "replacement" "genuine replacement" "OEM" or "OEM equivalent" - all of those are going to be aftermarket (non-genuine) parts. People see those terms and think genuine, but people don't read carefully. If it doesn't say genuine x part, then it's going to be aftermarket.

What it comes down to is if you don't want to spend a few extra minutes to read the available listings carefully to save your $$$, just go to your local dealer and make them rich. It's your wallet. Simple as that.

Having owned a lexus in the past - by the time something on your car breaks, there is an extremely high chance you will be out of warranty.

I would like to get a replacement fob cover but Lexus doesn't sell them. I bought one off of amazon and it was terrible. I would buy that's exactly like the one that came with my car but I can't find one where the buttons aren't covered.

Can you not get a kit from Gates? They are OEM or better quality.

The Gates belt might be good, but the pullies, tensioner, water pump, and other parts are not OEM quality. Use AISIN, they are the Toyota/Lexus part supplier.

So after doing a ton of price comparisons on rear brake pads and rotors for my RC, I found these dealers to have the lowest prices:

Lexus of Wesley Chapel [lexusofwesleychapel.com]

Lexus of Merrillville [lexusofmerrillville.com]

Lexus Of Orland [lexusoforland.com]

Lexus of Lubbock [cavenderlexusoflubbock.com]

I usually purchase from Bell Lexus North Scottsdale, but the above dealers were slightly cheaper. Good luck and hope this helps your quest to save money!
