12th gen is ok ... Fortunately upgradable I believe
According to reddit, the most recent BIOS doesn't support it.

But it does have the same mobo, so theoretically it could be manually flashed..

Can I grab the graphics card and put it in another system?
You can, but this pc doesn't support the onboard graphics of the cpu because there's no onboard video output.

Not a great deal at all.
You have to wonder if these are bots or just total clowns who think they'll have a better shot at getting a deal if they crap all over it for everyone else.

Show us a better system for $500.

Until then, you're just straight up making up nonsense.

Is this big upgrade from 1070?
The 3060 is on par with a 1080, which is why it was such a big disappointment. The only thing it brought to the table was hardware rtx, which isn't that great at this level, and dlss.

The 3060 ti traded blows with a 2080 ti and makes sense as a baseline to upgrade from for good 1440p performance.

Yeah, I'm coming from a 1050ti and i5-7600k. I can probably get $250-$300 for that on FB Marketplace so might as well grab this..

What's a better starter pc, this one or the Costco hp one for 999

Edit, I know it's half price but cost to performance I mean, will I get just as long time out of it?

I built my last desktop about 10 years ago. Only use it for internet, office sofware, etc. Most strenuous thing I use it for is 3d printing. This is the price point I'm looking for. Is this the one or wait for something better?

Do you create your own models in 3d modeling programs, or do you just download predesigned files.

If you design your own models, you'll see good improvements depending on what video card you use, and even a bump from a good cpu.

I do make my own models, so I'm sure this is better. I've got a Geforce GTX 760 graphics cars, so I'm pretty sure anything is better. My may goal is something new and faster, but that will just be solid for another 8 or so years.

This deal just went away, but it or something similar will likely come back soon.

I'd use this as a basis for a workstation based rig.

Then maybe some used quadro GPU off of ebay.

Tons of cores and a GPU will do great things, and maybe end up around $700
