They haven't turned; it's the fact that every kid now has a 50-70in TV at home with a single game counsel that plays all the games that DB has combined and the kids are allowed to play it for 4 hours per day 6 days a week. Maybe that's what changed from the "90s" ?

Bought $100 gift card from costco and got the springbreak pass with a guest pass. Got the free Loaded Chips & Queso togo. I don't think we're suppose to be able to cash out the tickets for merchandise, but my son asked and they allowed it. Kids got a bunch of junky toys - a drone, nerf guns, minecraft decals. I got some shot glasses and pint glasses.
Also had lunch for 6 using the 50% off (food only, drinks not discounted). Tipped the waitress like 50% because I felt bad for getting such a good deal.
Ended with 23.5K tickets left over. AirPod pros are 32K for reference. I think if I stayed an extra hour or so, I could have grinded out another 10K tickets for the Airpods pros.
Definitely on the top 10 slickdeals for me. Kids and I had a great time and we got our money's worth for sure.
I wouldn't put it 100% on the kids. While that is probably why they have a bunch of dumb mobile-type games, the company as a whole made many bad business decisions, too.
So paying $90 for stuffed animal.
