You may want to search the forum for pressure washer and check out the thread started 3/24 for a different brand (Murray) refurbished from Woot. Tons of user complaints due to missing parts and materially broken pieces on the unit due to Woot's poor shipping. For those who don't want to potentially turn a low upfront monetary outlay into a time sink, this may not be for you.

I grabbed one of these for a family member; couldn't pass it up for less than $200. When it arrives I'll update with unboxing and first impressions.

I went in on the deal recently from Woot! for their refurb Murray pressure washer.
It arrived with a big dent on the gas tank and was missing the hose, gun, and attachments.
Wheels were solid and not inflatable like in the picture either.
After a while Woot! did credit me $50 which nearly covered the cost of the hose/gun off amazon, but the dent and wheels irk me.
So, if you're prepared to be disappointed and okay with a possible hassle then go for it! The cost saving to a new one are there, but the risk remains.

Hope these are packed better than the Murray refurbs, lol. Mine ended up being free and works despite a bunch of mostly cosmetic damage so it was a win in that regard.

I've had a similar honda model for awhile. Works well but the cart is made for people 3 ft tall. makes NO sense to me. Last washer I had was the more vertical style. Takes up WAY less room in the shed and so much easier to move around.

I bought the last pressure washer and it was Horrible broken dented and not as described. Not sure if I should take a chance on this one.

Agreed, and it's totally preventable with secure packaging. A little bubble wrap and some foam blocks would go a long way, but no one seems to care much about how you receive things anymore. UPS and FedEx could do better as well; they seem to intentionally mistreat heavy and bulky packages.

Great price, and great engine. A little bit concerned with the refurb, but I've had great Kohler engines.

I bought one and then read through the last thread and cancelled. I think I'd rather just get the Wpx3200 new for another $100? Really well reviewed and no refurb gamble. Any other decent new ones to check out?

There was a dude on the Murray thread who said woot replaced the Murray with a Simpson model (I assume this one), he was pleased with the replacement. I would expect this to be packaged differently. If I didn't already have the Murray I would not feel too worried about giving this one a try.

I bought the Murray Briggs and Stratton they had on sale last month. It came very poorly packaged with a heavily dented gas tank, and would not hold pressure when I tested it. Woot sent me one of these Simpson models as a replacement. It also came with a dented gas tank but it does function. It was a lot of hassle but at least I have a working one. Happy to answer any questions.

How is it a gamble? Woot can't refuse a return if the item is physically broken or missing pieces right? The orange box just has to be a scare tactic. Did Woot confirm that simpson will replace this without headache if its damaged or missing pieces?

No. I have photos of both, just not sure how to post here. They were both similarly packaged. ~70lb box, which was beat up. Internal cardboard surrounding the main unit was a bit torn up where I could tell the unit had been slammed around. And a useless piece of bubble wrap on top of the gas tank.
On both units, if the box is turned upside down it WILL land on the gas tank, which caused dents on both units
