Regardless it's a good deal. Likely an old roast date (just a guess) but worth trying a bag for me.

My favorite medium roast is Big Bang, although the last bag I got from Target seem to be not the same quality and didn't have a roast date. I have a suspicion Pete's is going downhill, so YMMV.
