the idea this is sold as 100 inch projector just rubs me wrong. projectors go as big as you want to project them... are they saying it gives a certain size resolution when the total image is 100 inches? meh. idk.

It is sold with a 100" screen. These UST projectors work much better with an ALR screen, which can be expensive, so the size is important.

I believe 100 inch is the size of the screen that comes with it

I read you can't adjust the size due to focus.

this is similar to a previous post. 100" UST is unfortunately an obsolete idea. if these were priced 2-3 years ago, then it would have had much success. however now with the TCL and hisense for ~2,500 blows these out the water just the fact that it is 1 unit and convenient not worrying about lighting.

I guess you've never installed a 100 inch TV. I'm pretty sure once projection reaches oled quality TVs will be obsolete.

These are fixed distance ultra short throw projectors. Part of the reason they are as cheap as there. The size cannot be adjusted and remain infocus

3.. THREE. THRICE.
That is how many times I've had a Hisense UST have a pixel go white.

2.. TWO.. TWICE..
Is how many times they warrantied it.

1.. ONE..
Is how many burned out pixels I stare at every day while watching TV because Hisense won't warranty my UST.

NEVER, EVER, AGAIN
Is how many times I'll buy a Hisense product.
