But I think the M12 fuel is enough for me, and I also have 2.0ah m12 battery which make the tool much compact and lightweight to use.

2) Home Depot sends me an email for things I buy in-store, even when I don't produce ID or identify myself in any way. I -know- they're tying it to the name on the CC and sending me these "How do you like our XXYY item?" question. With that said, I know they're tracking the pattern of these 'hacks' and I'd rather not play that game.
Meh, ive done it and no one caress, they r still making money hand over fist. As long as ur not replacing the new tool with the old, i dont see a crime or problem
