Just stopped by today at the local Costco Wholesale in Fountain Valley, CA, and I came across a 24-pack of La Croix sparkling water for $6.49. Normally going for $8.99, and the deal ends on May 5, 2024.

What?? Just gonna say that without linking anything?

If you can find it, this is cheaper than the Amazon deal from earlier this week of 12pk for $3.75 [$7.50 for 24]

Edit: Per a 2020 Consumer Reports study, most sparkling water brands had on average around 1ppt (1 part per trillion) of PFAS, below the EPA voluntary threshold of 70ppt (Biden actually just set new rules this week of 4 ppt). Might have something to do with the carbonation process? There were some worse offenders in their report. Link here [consumerreports.org]

You went through all that trouble to be a wise guy when you could've just linked the report?

It is often the water source that is the contamination problem. If buying any bottled beverage, I recommend checking the source with the bottler/producer or buying products that are RO or distilled first.

FYI, the EPA enacted MCLG is 0 ppt for PFOS and PFOA. It will now be on states and municipalities to test, report, and reign in industrial contamination to municipal water supply.

What's with all these Lacroix sales. Is Lacroix going bankrupt? Not that I'm complaining

Consumers are currently having to allocate more of their paychecks to gasoline, less to fancy water and laptops

kroger often has them on sale at this price. i guess amazon decided to match them. it wouldn't be so annoying if we didn't have a separate post for each and every flavor

it's actually not cheaper than Amazon's 3.75 for 12 after you factor in the 5c per bottle CRV, which somehow Amazon doesn't charge for this item. It becomes about the same.

This set has the worst tasting flavors among the LaCroix variety packs. I prefer just buying the Kirkland brand.

They were also $6.49 in Burbank
Not sure if this is a SoCal thing or at Costco everywhere.
I still ended up buying them at Ralph's (Kroger) instead as it was worth it to spend a little more to only get the flavors that I really want.

If your Costco still has the pack with key lime, passion fruit and tangerine it's a pretty good one but I agree the lemoncello one is horrible.

Agreed. Its not a natural citrus flavor... more like a lemon meringue type of flavor.
