The keys are no longer proprietary with their latest refresh, it comes with 2 standard keys now that you can make copies of. I ordered from Amazon yesterday and just installed it this evening.
Ehh I like the products but they don't support WPA3 and the tried gaslighting everyone here the exploits found. I wouldn't trust them for a lock.
The one linked in the OP has Wifi built-in and doesn't require the additional separate bridge

Can you unlock this by holding up your phone? If so, is it Android only or does it work with iPhone also?

No. This is unlocked with fingerprint, keypad, or remotely using the app. What you are referring to is NFC.

S230; I ended up returning mine from amazon for $130 and picked it up from Micro center near me here in Duluth, GA for $69 + tax = $74 total out the door ...

$56 dollar saving so can't complain for the S230 Keyless fingerprint lock
The ones at Micro Center is the old generation with the 5 keys vs the one posted is the newest version.

Be careful as the discounted ones at Micro Center are with the 5 proprietary keys vs the new generation of this lock with 2 regular keys.

I mean I'll bite on the security conversation. A house with more cameras and tech features externally is going to be an outlier in any community where similar isn't predominantly prevalent. But at the same time it's way to bring neighbors and everyone else on board.

If getting a smart door lock with a camera is a deterrent for you when new apartments have had smart locks w/o cameras for almost a decade then you need to reconsider your own security situation for what would improve it.

A determined thief is a determined thief no matter what the situation. But the appearance of a security system may deter just one thief and that's worth the investment in my opinion

Can be easily defeated within seconds according to the Lockpicking Lawyer on YouTube. FYI, all smart locks have this problem, some more serious than others like this Eufy.

Had an Eufy for a couple months but my issue was locking the lock on the way out. I don't know if this has changed but to lock you had hold down the button for 3 seconds. I know it sounds short but is incredibly annoying when you're leaving the house. Other smart locks you just hit the button and you're on your way. Returned it for this reason.

IMO, I would go with August locks. Sure it's not all pretty and fancy or yada yada but I think it's the only lock out on the market that lets you know if the door is open or not. If someone kicks in the door, this lock ain't telling you anything. If someone forgets to close the door (looking at you kids! now get off my lawn!), I get a notification.

Locks are locks. Smart locks are smart locks. I got a Chinesium brand for my MIL because she didn't care for smart, just fingerprint. Had it for 4 years now and besides changing the battery every 6 months, it works great. There's little compelling reason to pick this lock over any other smart lock unless it comes with door sensor.

You can lock it using your fingerprint in the same manner you unlock it as well which is pretty instant. The 3 second button to lock hasn't changed though.
