18650 is a big plus, can upgrade to a higher capacity 18650 and even allows for swap outs if it's anything like the other 18650 flashlights. Really useful for keeping in the car or around the house for blackouts.
EDIT: nevermind, apparently built in and not replaceable.
Everyone likes it lol it's a standard charger port. No one likes a proprietary port because if you lose the charger, you have to pay $19.99 for a replacement
Huh! ? BigBG was referring to USB-C port, is that what you're referring to as "proprietary"?
For people looking for a throwaway battery powered light, just get a freebie from Harbor Freight when you use one of their coupons. It's much better than trying to locate a mini USB cable to charge a $5 flashlight when you could just pop 3 AAA batteries in and go.

In my experience, Aaa powered flashlights burn through batteries very quickly and should be avoided.
Lightning is the next mini USB. Get outta here with that.
This ain't no Apple product and even Apple is switching everything over to USB-C. SO I guess you are right, Lightning is the next outdated tech like micro USB.

These come with a charging cord for each flashlight. The end you would plug in to the power source is a regular usb cord.
