Can I remove the sim card that will come with the phone and put the same sim card into another A13 5G that is unlocked and use the minutes / time on that sim card?

Haven't done a deal like this before. What are the limitations of the phone, is it locked to the 1500 minutes plan, can I use on my t mobile account etc?
Seems too good to be true @ that price?

Note that the minutes and data is for an entire year of service and not monthly. So you only ever get 1500 minutes / txt / 1500MB data.

If you are not familar with Tracfone its common for people to think the minutes / data is monthly.

Anyone tried canceling the filler item? I'm on the fence about getting this phone - and don't particularly care if the account gets banned, since I'll just create a new one for the next deal - and so don't mind risking a full cancellation, so I canceled the filler.

So far, the phone is still preparing (or whatever it says) and shows the cost just over $35 after tax (discount was $27.XX).

Thanks! I did assume it was 1500/year but is the phone dead after that. Can it be unlocked or used with another provider instead of using the 1500?

The phone imei is paired to the sim upon activation. Once you use that sim on another phone, it does not work. However, I was able to call their customer service, provide them with the imei of the new phone, and they were able to pair the sim with my other phone.

Based on other threads, it sounds like this might have been the case earlier, but it less likely now. I don't think anyone should buy this phone with the expectation that they can use it with T-Mobile out of the box, but instead should assume they'll need to activate and wait 60 days.

If it comes unlocked, though, that's great! I bought one and am certainly hoping that it's unlocked because I don't want or need the TF service, just a backup phone.

I buy the deal for the 1-year phone plan. Phone worth $15 to me.

There was report that Tracfone may cancel your account if you don't use anything on your plan for some months. So every month at least try to call or text to someone or yourself.
