I've had this one for over 10 years. It's a tank. Doesn't leak, it's reliable, and does what you need it to do.

The manual for this will tell you that it's not recommended to use pipe tape, but I still end up needing it to stop it from leaking.

Low flow shower heads are trash. Can the restrictor plate get accessed to drill it out?

Good question. I guess its not a removable gasket?

EDIT: Saw one Amazon review saying they removed it, so took a chance.

I got the same exact one when it was on sale for $12. The flow limiter/restrictor is easily removed, just search up a youtube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ga_iOpZ0x3c

Low flow can be fine to great to bad, heck go to a few hotels and you'll find a mix. One of the best low flow shower heads is made by Oxygenics. They are mainly for RV's but do a great job anywhere as they aerate so well (what most people confuse with 'flow') For example, your garden hose pumps out 30+ gallons per minute but doesn't aerate so tends to wash hands worse than a standard bathroom faucet at a fraction of the flow.

BTW, "low flow" tends to be 1.25 GPM or less.

I prefer a strong shower fast flowing shower where water hitting me is like a massage.
