Promo code wasn't working for me either. I ended up using the chat and the csr advised to place an order so they can apply the promo on their end. it took about 5 min overall
I did the same but bc I was ordering at 1am for evening delivery, they couldn't apply it the restaurant accepts the order (around 3pm). Did they validate yours? I'm worried they won't and only ordering dinner bc of the discount

i did mine for immediate delivery around noon and he applied the promo code right after my order was placed. I got the email confirmation relatively quick

I chatted with someone and wouldn't do it but I ended up getting some compensation at least
Whenever I order from these delivery apps, I feel like I'm abusing people. Even with a huge tip, I feel like they're getting screwed. Delivery drivers used to be employees with benefits. Now, it feels like an added tax pyramid scheme.
Best you can do is go pick up your own food. You don't need grubhubs marked up prices and they pay restaurant much less actually.
