That's a good deal. Just paid for $40 for the 10" at Walmart to replace the one my wife burned up. Yes, burned up. I don't like her cooking.
I am a registered chemical engineer dealing with PFAS. I don't use any of the non stick ones.

Compared to traditional non stick and potential health issues that people talk about, how do this compare

These should not have any non-stick coating at all. They are simply stainless steel, which should mean there are no potential health issues with the pans. I can't vouch for their quality, I've bought a couple of all-clad pans from the Home And Cook Sales site which are excellent, but you'll be paying $70+ for a 12" fry pan alone, and that's WITH a steep discount from that retailer.

A couple carbon steel/cast iron pans and a couple stainless pans are the perfect combination, IMO. CS/CI when you need nonstick (eggs etc), and stainless for acidic/reactive (tomatoes) or foods that require or release a lot of moisture (excessive moisture can weaken seasoning IME). I have a Calphalon tri-ply stainless pan for 20 years, been through the dishwasher countless times, has some visible wear but performs as good as the day I bought it.

Just fyi, as far as I have seen there aren't significant health issues from using "non-stick" pans, it was more so in the factory making the pans then the finished product.

I personally still use my non-stick pans for eggs and fish, etc.

We have had to recently relocate our parrot to the dining room next to the kitchen and non-stick is a no-go for them - they have very sensitive respiratory systems. Instead of non-stick I went with ceramic for my frying pan and man do eggs slide right off of that stuff.

Oven Safe Temperature 450 F. Most of all all-clad clones are 500F or higher. I wonder why this set has lower rating.

for you cooks out there. what do you do to clean it easily after cooking? it's a pain to wash after making some eggs when i get done. also is ceramic better than stainless tri-ply clad overall ?

i'm not much of a cook. I guess people put their skillets in ovens for baking certain items?
