This is one of those items where splurging for Polywood is worth every penny over cheaping out with other materials. You can leave Polywood outside all year long it'll last a decade without maintenance

Not a bad price but would rather have polywood than wood.

Are you from upstate New York, 518? Haha.

Yea I'm sorry... What I should ask is, is this a good price for plastic/composite chair among other ones. I assume yes...
No, and I surprisingly get asked that less than you'd think. My username references my height lol.

But yes I think it's a good price for the "composite/all-weather/etc" chairs, especially considering it's from Costco for return issues. I've been casually looking for the last year or so and grabbed 4 at my local store at the discounted price. Besides the price difference, online only has certain colors and in store only carried a muted woodgrain look.

They are $114 in warehouse.
But isn't that price for 1 chair only?

Yes, it is. Would recommend the Costco one (plastics) over this deal (wood)

By my understanding plastic/plywood will outlast wood in this situation. I think if you have decent climate and you store after use then wood should last a while. If your in harsh environment hot/cold/rain and just leave them out (me) then plastic plywood might work best.

I wouldn't bother with these if they were free.

If you like plastic... I'd prefer teak wood and teak oil treatments every 5 or 7 years myself. Live natural.

Poly wood is sharp as hell so would recommend to round the corners from the manufacturer cutting the molds

Because Wayfair mostly sells overpriced junk masked by fake reviews? Read the 'real' reviews and you start to see the quality issues.

If you're looking at the Leisure Line plastic Adirondack, they mention a 40 year warranty. Sounds like they're confident in their product being able to last. I think I'd rather go with that than anything wood. I'm wondering if it's basically another proprietary material that doesn't have a catchy name like Polywood
