Apples and Oranges. They are both good sets. But the Sony has been this price forever now. Kind of ridiculous. The S89C is in a different league picture wise.

My viewing distance is 15 feet. Should I go with larger 85 or 77 oled should be good enough?

Definitely 85 inch at 15 ft. Maybe wait for the new Sony, Hisense and TCL at this point. The U8N should be out very soon.

Sony announced that in the US the Z9K (an 8K mini-LED TV from 2022), the A90K OLED (in 42 and 48-inch sizes) and the X90L LED model would all continue into 2024.
