He's going based off what happened last year with last years model. Doesn't mean it's going to happen the same way again. Also stock will be very low and it will be hard to find/YMMV
Source: I work there and process clearance. Just about every TV at the store is at 30% off right now. Some are already 50%. There's a large reset happening the end of this month where all displays will be changed out. Often times stores will sell you a display for 70-90% off on the final days leading up to a reset. Personally wouldn't buy a display, especially an OLED.

Understood for your store - but that's not at every store as evidenced by everyone in this thread who is not seeing 30% off. Are you saying that every store nationwide will have these OLEDs 30-50% off on 23 and 30 of April?

That's true. I can't guarantee every store, but it should in theory be true for all stores seeing the 30% off price now. One exception is that sometimes clearance prices have to manually be activated but I'm fairly certain these TVs are on an automatic markdown schedule. As far as the date, it should be the 30th but I'll say plus or minus or day,

As a cautionary note, stock is generally low across my district

So if I bought today when should I look online or in store for a further price match?

Just snagged a brand new 65" c3 for $1399 at my local target. Last one!!! Mega slick. Thanks OP!

Gonna keep my eye on the price in case it drops further in the next 14 days.
Will Target adjust to the lower price within 14 days ?

Not sure what the other guy's problem is, this has been how Target's clearance has worked for as long as I can remember, and has been discussed every April for years now as the new TV models get released and old stock goes for 30%, then 50%, and then 70%+ off. Of course, virtually all will be sold by the time it hits 50% off, but the fact that there's even a chance at getting a high end TV for 70-80% off each year makes it worth checking out over the next couple of weeks.

Went to a target that had a 65 c2 Oled and they wanted 2400 for it. Lmao. Manager wasn't there tonight to try to negotiate. Higher sales person wasn't helpful. Said he had no ability to lower. Lol. They will be stuck with that TV forever.

Crossing fingers that these will survive the 30% wave in my area. Target's markdowns can be random and store dependent. I remember getting the 55" C1 for 70% off; back then a lot of tvs went straight to 70% off. Too bad it wasn't the same this time around.

It's is really called making room for new inventory. C4 is inbound so of course they have to rid of surplus older models. This will be normal prices

$1499 at Costco in case you can't find it at target!! It's finally happening now. The wait was worth it.
