The Hamilton Beach Front Fill Deluxe 12 Cup Programmable Coffee Maker is easy to fill from the front with a Front Fill water reservoir and swing-open brew basket for coffee grounds. It s easy to program the coffee maker and clock with intuitive digital controls and Easy-Touch programming. Set the coffee maker up to 24 hours ahead for fresh hot coffee in the morning. Customize the strength of your coffee to suit your tastes with the Select-a-Brew brew-strength selector. The coffee maker automatically turns off after 2 hours for peace of mind and the Time Since Brew freshness indicator shows you how long since your coffee brewed to ensure you re always drinking fresh coffee. The coffee maker reminds you when it s time to run the self-cleaning cycle for consistently great-tasting coffee cup after cup. The 12 cup carafe and Lift & Clean brew basket are both dishwasher safe. Auto Pause & Pour stops the flow of coffee when you lift the carafe to pour a cup of coffee before the brewing stops. The no-drip design of the 12 cup borosilicate glass carafe eliminates mess.

Got one…. after reading reviews I added the $4 Three Year Extended Warranty.
Good idea. I had a Hamilton Beach dual single/pot maker that had an element go bad 1 week outside of warranty and they sent me a sorry and 20% off a new one. I moved on to other brands. Our Ninja ~$100 is still going strong 3 years later.

Thanks and good to know. I once had a Ninja but it had some ridiculous cleaning procedure where you had to baby sit it for 20 minutes pushing buttons and counting light blips. I hope they've improved if you have hard water.

It's basically running diluted vinegar through a cycle once or twice a year. Not too bad, and it probably has something to do with its logenvity.

I buy distilled water, my grocery store sells a box of three 1 gallon jugs for $3.00. I use that on all my small appliances like my iron and such.
any idea what filters i will need for this? it may sound stupid but i have no idea about coffee machines since i drink black tea and sometimes coffee with those k-cups.
