Good idea. I had a Hamilton Beach dual single/pot maker that had an element go bad 1 week outside of warranty and they sent me a sorry and 20% off a new one. I moved on to other brands. Our Ninja ~$100 is still going strong 3 years later.

Thanks and good to know. I once had a Ninja but it had some ridiculous cleaning procedure where you had to baby sit it for 20 minutes pushing buttons and counting light blips. I hope they've improved if you have hard water.

It's basically running diluted vinegar through a cycle once or twice a year. Not too bad, and it probably has something to do with its logenvity.

Yes and it's pretty routine. My Mr. Coffee recommends the same

Its showing up at 17.02 for me as well. It's hard to pass at this price. Might pick this up as a backup for my 4 year old coffee machine.

I buy distilled water, my grocery store sells a box of three 1 gallon jugs for $3.00. I use that on all my small appliances like my iron and such.
