I have this fridge. It makes a loud noise for some time during some cycle. Had tech come out three times. They said it's normal. Sent them videos. A Best Buy review noted the same thing. They replaced the panel with the fans on the top section and did not solve issue.

Bought a LG french door in 2012, still going strong, no issues whatsoever. I'm one of the lucky few. Knock on wood while fingers crossed. 🤞

Just don't buy one with auto ice maker if you don't consume ice regularly. Ton of people leaving the ice sitting in the tray for months and complaining about all got frozen up. 🤦

When searching the model # I ordered
RF23BB8600QLAA does not list proof of 4 panels next to it ?
See attachment, debating reordering without panels if I can to get lower price.

I have a Samsung refrigerator from 2010 and still going strong. Every post of Samsung refrigerator just let me wonder how mine is still running.

Did you call them? They fixed mine outside of warranty. It was for the same issue at no cost to me.

Same here with LG except the door sometimes doesn't close fully due to one hitting the other. Otherwise flawless and boss will not let me replace until it bites the dust

Make sure the free panel offer is still valid before you take delivery, if the free panels are important to you. I bought a Bespoke refrigerator in early June of 2023. The terms and conditions indicated that the free panel promotion was available for purchases made between February 2022 and December 2023, "while supplies last." Supplies must have run out in May because they stopped honoring the promotion for purchases after May 24, 2023.

I think there is a youtube electrician who said that Samsung's bespoke like is the best one by Samsung they fixed a lot of issues, and the repairability is very good. But still not at the level of GE.

Samsung:
Great phones
Good TVs
Terrible appliances.

Personal experience:
My family has S24s (couple Ultras and Pluses). Great phones.
We have a 65" Samsung SUHD TV (UN65KS8000) for 8 years. It's been very good and reliable.
We have a Samsung dishwasher for 3 years. Cleaning is meh and smells between washes (yes, the filter is clean).
We had a Samsung fridge. Horrible icing problem. Water/ice under deli tray. Replaced everything behind back fridge panel (Samsung's supposed fix). Did not help with icing problem. Disposed of it in less than 7 years.

I'm pretty sure your model doesn't have the "proof" comment because it comes with panels built-in to the price. The only model with the comment is the "base" customizable fridge (no panels)
