Ikea currently has some daily promos going on for their in-store restaurant. One of the best deals is on Tuesdays - Ikea Family members (free to join) can get any adult hot entree for $3.99. Other deals are posted below. Offer good until 8/31/2024. The cashier indicated that each person doesn't need to be an Ikea Family member - as long as one party shows their membership, you can all order with the promo pricing. As for the meatball entree, I believe it's for the 8 piece (not valid for the largest portion size).
Daily specials:
Monday: Go meatless with 8-piece veggie & plant ball plates for $3
Tuesday: Get any hot entrée for $3.99
Wednesday: Get 2 free kid's entrées when you buy 1 adult entrée
Thursday: Get $1 off Swedish meatballs
Friday: All customers get 50% off all hot entrées
Terms:
*Offers in-restaurant only through August 31, 2024. Valid in the U.S. at participating IKEA Swedish Restaurants only while supplies last. Not valid in locations without Swedish Restaurants. Offers are as follows: 1) Mondays, 8 piece plant ball and veggie ball plates are $3.00 plus tax for IKEA Family; 2) Tuesdays, all hot adult entrees are $3.99 plus tax for IKEA Family; 3) Wednesdays, two kids' entrees free when you purchase an adult entrée (maximum of 2 kids meals per adult meal purchased) for IKEA Family; 4) Thursdays, all Swedish meatball plates are $1 off for IKEA Family; and 5) Fridays, all meatball entrees (veggie ball, plant ball, and Swedish meatball) and hot adult entrées are 50% off for all customers. Not valid online. Discount applied pre-tax at register. Other restrictions may apply. See store for details.

For the price it is great food. It's not fresh restaurant grade but most chain restaurants are cooking from frozen packs anyway. Think of it as a high-end ivy league college cafeteria with healthier options at a subsidized price because they make up cost with the shopping.
When option B is KFC, I imagine that Ikea starts to look pretty good.

I had no idea that they had a restaurant.
They had the perfect opportunity to just sell you a box of ingredients so one could assemble the meal at home.
Spoken like someone who has NEVER been there.
I drive across town for meatballs and their Swedish cola.
